I'm not saying its okay to kill Cecil the lion. In fact I have a separate blog dedicated solely to the preservation of threatened animals, especially elephants & rhinos, but let us always remember that human life is ALWAYS more important than animal life, including unborn babies. I had a golden retriever named Lola who went everywhere with me for fourteen years. She was my faithful companion, & the day she died was indescribably sad. Yet, no matter how much I LOVED LOLA & hope to see her again in heaven, if I had to make a decision between saving a human life drowning in a river versus saving Lola,I would have to choose to save the human, even if its a complete stranger who may be a jerk. I would have to make the choice to save the jerk over my golden Lola just because the jerk is human, and has the potential to become a saved Christian & to grow as a person, as a child of God. The jerk might not, however, ever become a good or nice person, but I still have to choose saving the human just because of my Christian faith (& I suppose as a citizen there may be some legal obligation as well, but I would do it for Christian reasons alone). Likewise, for these reasons,we need to focus on saving our unborn babies. Sure,I think God can save a baby who was aborted, and maybe they are all set aside for heaven,...I'm not sure how that works,or if the Bible speaks to the issue, but I can reason Biblically & theologically that God emphasizes the sacred aspect of human life, beginning with the 10 commandments & "Thou Shall Not Murder." & I can also reason that no matter what argument you use to defend abortion or otherwise, its still,at best,a very eloquent guess as to whether God considers a "fetus" in the womb to be a human being who is not allowed to be murdered. All the big words & sophisticated language & "high-level" educated reasoning still is a best guess,at best. Everybody must agree to that, unless they claim to be God Himself. And if they are atheist, they still cannot prove there is no God,and therefore, they are included in the "best guess" category, and the possibility (for their sake) that aborting a fetus is actually murdering a human being, which is against God's law as well as man's law. Therefore,if abortion is at best a guess that the "tissue" inside the woman is not life yet, then we must necessarily give the benefit of the doubt to the "fetus" and allow it to have the opportunity to live a life. There's NO WAY to reason around it.
HOW MANY BABIES WERE KILLED WHILE THE WHOLE WORLD WORRIED ABOUT A LION, & HIS BROTHER:
The average # of babies aborted daily, worldwide,is
65,000,see:
